Sales Administrator/Negotiator

Full-time (including alternate Saturdays

£15,000 - £18,000 depending on experience

Full Time EXPERIENCED Estate Agency Administrator/Negotiator role is available at our busy office. You must be bright, enthusiastic, articulate, and numerate, have good knowledge of Morley & it's surrounding areas & be well presented. But most of all, be a good team player!  Minimum 2 years’ experience required, Salary £15K - £18k depending on experience, based in Morley, Leeds.

Duties include: Providing all round administrational support in sales, negotiating sales and progressing sales through to completion.  Skills & Experience: Previous office experience gained within the property industry is required (minimum 2 years), good standard of education (GCSE English and Maths at grade C or equivalent) and good knowledge of Office Software. Desirable but not essential - experience of Expert Agent software. 

PLEASE NOTE - we will not consider an applicant if they do not have a minimum of 2 year’s experience in the property industry.

You will be responsible for pro-actively responding to all enquiries, both face to face, over the telephone and electronically.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer the telephone 
  • Register all potential buyers and sellers onto the office 
  • Match all potential buyers to properties available and telephone them to encourage viewings
  • Arrange viewings as required
  • Obtain feedback from Viewers and update seller on comments made
  • Negotiate sales with prospective buyers and sellers obtaining best possible price for the Vendor
  • Arrange property appraisals for potential sellers
  • Arrange for board deliveries, change to sold and arrange collections as and when required
  • Maximize financial services income by arranging appointments for potential buyers with Mortgage Advisor to qualify the offer and arrange mortgage
  • Arrange appointments for potential sellers with Mortgage Advisor to arrange mortgages
  • Agree sales, obtain solicitor details, and liaise with Solicitors and mortgage advisor's to progress the sale through to completion
  • Negotiate any potential works/change to price post mortgage valuation and arrange contractors estimates
  • Prepare weekly advertisements for newspaper advertising
  • Ensure notes are updated on the office system regularly. You will also be required to carry out any other duties which may reasonably be required of you.

  • Making sure that professional skills are regularly updated through participation in training and development activities
  • Ensure all policies are implemented within the remit of this post.
